How to Change JioFi SSID and Wireless Password
Switch on the Hotspot and scan for available wireless networks, and connect to your Jio SSID. Once the connection established between the Jio WiFi router and the PC, you should follow the steps provided below.
- Login to JioFi 4G Hotspot Setup Page
- Type default JioFi WiFi Hotspot login IP address on the address bar of your browser, and press enter. The default login IP address is 192.168.225.1, or you can use the localhost address http://jiofi.local.html
- Click on the Login link
- You need to enter the default JioFi login username and password. Both are the administrator and click on the login button.
- Type default JioFi WiFi Hotspot login IP address on the address bar of your browser, and press enter. The default login IP address is 192.168.225.1, or you can use the localhost address http://jiofi.local.html
- You may be prompted to change the default JioFi 4G Hotspot login username and password. Once you have changed them, click on WiFi.
- Under WiFi, you can change the default JioFi wireless network name and encryption.
- Once you have changed the default SSID and WiFi encryption, click on the Apply button to update your changes.
