Last week one of our readers, sent an email to help him solve wireless connection issues on his PC. He is having a Windows 10 computer and the problem is his computer's inability to detect wireless network from his wireless router. In his first email, he didn't mention whether other wireless devices like laptop or SmartPhone could detect his home wireless network. So, my first reply was an inquiry on it. He confirmed that he is able to connect other devices to his home wireless network. Hence it is clear that the culprit is his desktop computer. I sent him some of our support links with procedures to resolve the issue of non-detection of wireless network automatically. Support links have common wireless detection issues with Windows 8 and Windows 10.
Unfortunately, none of the above solutions fix his issue. So I enquired him if his Windows 10 computer is configured in a way to start Wireless automatically to catch WiFi networks when his PC comes in range. He didn't know how to check whether Windows 10 is configured to start WiFi automatically. So, I sent his steps to start Wireless in Windows 10 Operating System automatically.
- Frequent Wireless Disconnection -Solution
