Hey there.

Here is my list of best TV series>>

  1. NORMAL PEOPLE

I read the novel. I watched the show. It isn’t your chick-flick, it is intense, authentic, the convos are beautiful, the acting is 10 on 10.

There’re some explicit scenes that some might object to. In my opinion, it actually added to the intensity of the show.

For all the romance suckers out there, I would highly recommend watching it.

Genre- Romance

2. WHEN THEY SEE US

Based on a true incident.

In 1989 NY, a woman was assaulted and räped. Five black teenagers were charged with the crime. This show goes on from their teenage years to their adult lives, how they were wrongly convicted, and how the racism sh*t was pulled on them. After years of questioning, the settlement was finally reached in 2014 and they were proved innocent.

The cinematography and originality of this show are very good.

It’s a miniseries so it won’t take much of your time.

Genre- Crime.

3. UNBELIEVABLE

This is about a teen who reports being r*ped. But due to various reasons(which you’ll know after watching the show), her accusation was considered false and the case got closed. Two female officers then followed the evidence to reveal the truth.

It is disturbing (warning ya, you might want to strangle some characters) but people should watch it, cause no matter how bitter the truth is, it is what happens out there.

Genre- Crime, Drama.

4. THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT

Oh, what a masterpiece it was. I enjoyed it to the extent that I love chess now!

Set in Cold War Era (1940s-1990s), an orphaned struggles with her addiction to become the greatest chess player in the world.

You won’t get bored for even a sec there. It is perfectly directed and flawlessly acted. I believe this may be the best Netflix series produced in recent years.

Genre- Historical Drama.

(The posture she got! No one can possibly pull off this role as she did)

5. THE BOYS

Warning: The show is fïlthy! It has vïolence (of many kinds)

There are superheroes who are as famous as any A-list celebrity would be. They are saving the world. Not. You see they aren’t what they show to the outside world. So here some boys head out on a heroic quest to expose them.

Based on a comic.

Genre- Action.

6. EUPHORIA

Gone were the days when there were sweet high school dramas. This sh*t is really intense and disturbing here. Zendaya, Jacob, Hunter, Barbie, all gave a stunning performance.

The summary is drügs, exploring one’s sēxualïty, dealing with anger issues, getting out from one’s not-so-good history, anxïetïēs, deprēssïon, etc…

EDIT: After watching the roller-coaster that was season 2, I’ve come to realize that it’s full of toxicity. The only thing positive thing you feel is how perfect the acting is! I won’t remove it but just wanted to mention it. People still are going crazy for it!

Genre- Drama.

7. STRANGER THINGS

Now, this is what I call perfect entertainment. The right amount of everything.

It is set in the 80s. A kid mysteriously disappeared from the town, Hawkins. While the police considered it as a case of kidnapping, his mother is set on her belief of something very bad happening!

Genre- Supernatural, Mystery.

8. OUTLANDER

The main female lead gets transported back to 18th century Scotland. Now you know how those times were! A single married lady who appeared out of nowhere(wearing some outrageous clothes I might add), now to survive she has to wed a Scotland warrior.

There begins their passionate and epic love story which I wholeheartedly adore. This show steales my breath every time. Close to my heart, I would rather say. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and absolutely, completely fell in love with this perfection of a show.

(I speak like that after binge-watching a historical show)

Genre- Historical drama.

9. BODYGUARD

Underrated, I would definitely say. I don’t see many people talking about it.

A police sergeant is assigned to protect the Home-Security working as her bodyguard. The one-season series is packed with thrilling scenes and actions.

You get goosebumps watching it.

Genre- Thriller, Action, Politics.

10. LOCKE & KEY

Imagine getting a key that would open any door in the world! That is somewhat the concept here. Three siblings move to a house filled with secrets and magic.

You don’t get such simple magical shows anymore. Enjoy!

Genre- Fantasy.

11. THE ALIENIST

A psychological thriller that gets to your mind.

Based on a best-selling book, it is set in 1890s NY. A ritualistic killer is on loose killing the boy-prostïtues. A newly appointed police commissioner assigned a criminal psychologist, a newspaper illustrator, and his personal secretary to conduct the investigation(in secret).

Oh, and I couldn’t watch it while eating.

Genre- Crime, Psychological Thriller, Historical Period Drama.

12. THIS IS US

Time to soften up and relieve the stress. This show works wonders for that.

What got me was how exquisitely they performed their roles. It is no surprise of course since most of them are Emmy winners or nominated ones. It has great critics’ reviews and high ratings.

It’s an authentic family drama that has its moments that will go straight to your heart.

Genre- Drama.

13. OZARK

Really really forking good.

14. SUITS

Bing-watching office attorneys drama. Where y’all Harvey Specter’s fans?

Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Sarah R, Gina Torres, loved them all!

Genre- Office-drama.

15. THE OFFICE

Now when you’re talking about an office show, how can you not talk about The Office? I wouldn’t dare!

A sitcom where the office workers go through hilarious misadventures.

Epic would be the word.

Genre- Sitcom

16. FRIENDS

Just gonna leave it here, yeah?

Just a question though, which one is your favorite, The Office or Friends?

You’ve to be a part of this large and diverse family, in order to enjoy it.

It is funny and sweet. I love Phil Dumphy.

Genre- Sitcom.

18. FARGO

I tend to avoid the shows which disturb the peace of my mind that I can’t stop thinking about them but then again I can’t actually bring myself to stop watching them in the first place. It is one of those shows.

Everything is astounding and excellent. The creators, the writers, the directors, the actors all of them are at their best here.

Genre- Crime anthology dramedy.

21. THE WITCHER

I am a fan of Henry Cavill. I’ll watch literally anything if that means seeing him. Needless to say, this show didn't disappoint me(but oh well nothing of him ever disappoints me *giggles*)

Adapted from the game, it has got the perfect amount of everything.

Gerald, Yennefer, Ciri, all of them are such strong characters that you feel the energy right along with them. This show has some motherf***ing promises for the future.

If you belong to the GOT territory, I would highly recommend it.

Genre- Drama, Adventure, Thriller, Mystery, Action.

22. BREAKING BAD

With a 9.5 rating, this show is still considered one of the best. And why not? I can’t see a single flaw here.

Now well, that's a lie. No show is perfect. This is as close as you can get.

I felt like it got slow somewhere in between but in the end, it was all worth it. This is about a high school Chemistry teacher who was diagnosed with cancer and then got into mëth business with his ex-student.

Bryan and Aaron performed their roles with total perfection.

Genre- Crime, Drama.

The coming-of-age story, so full of life.

The show is based on a classic book about a 13-year-old orphan who is seeking love, acceptance, and her place in the world.
